FIFA has Named Gyan best Player for World Cup Qualifiers Africa

The Captain of the Black Stars and Ghana’s best football talent Asamoah Gyan is now named as the best player in Africa. FIFA has named Asamoah Gyan as the best player for 2013 World Cup Qualifiers Africa.
The world governing body of FIFA named the Black Stars attacker as the best player of the weekend’s 2014 World Cup Qualifiers for Africa discussing his heroics in Sudan where he played a very important role in the Black Stars victory.
On FIFA’s official website, FIFA named Gyan in the ‘Player of Day’ column discussing the 19 matches played over the weekend.
Gyan’s two goals in Omdurman broke Abedi Pele’s record of scoring for Ghana and also confirmed the important victory for the Black Stars. That important and much needed victory in Omdurman on Friday night under a very difficult situation helped the Black Stars to keep their pressure on Group D leaders Zambia.
On Friday night Ghana’s star striker came-up huge where he didn’t only gave a one goal lead to Ghana but he scored another goal which put them ahead when Ghana was reduced to ten men and given up an equalizer – both things happened around the half-hour mark.
The Qualifiers of 2006 and 2010 World Cup went to 3-1 victory but they remained a point behind Chipolopolo.
Asamoah Gyan is only 27, his two goals in the last match took him to 34 International goals and now he is standing equal to the legendary Abedi Pele as the Black Stars all-time top scorer.
