Hip-Hop Star DJ Dee Money released New Video

Ghana’s awesome hip-hop star and rap professional DJ Dee Moneey released his new video for Marilyn Monroe, a song which features U.K based superstar Fuse ODG. The single titled”Marilyn Monroe” was made by ODG Music.
It reveals Dee Moneey’s maturity as a professional as he provides his interest and respect for the African woman in this danceable afro beats tone. This video identifies a surprise  miniature  from Nigerian professional Dammy Krane.
Shot at some location in Accra, the  video was directed and designed by Nana Asihene and  it was released on June 8, 2013 This Summer.

Nana Akufo-Addo not affected by Election Petition

Last week the 2012 Presidential Candidate Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo flew out to the United Kingdom for his routine medical check-up.
There were a lot of rumors that He is affected due to the stress of ongoing Election Petition but The General Secretary of NPP denied those rumors saying that Nana Akufo-Addo is not affected by the ongoing Election Petition hearing.
The press Secretary of Nana Akufo-Addo, Mr. Herbert Krapa gave a short press statement in which he said that the former Flagbearer was gone for “scheduled engagements including his regular medical checkup”.
While according to the Herald Newspaper which claimed that Nana Akufo-Addo suffered from a heart attack a few days before and had to be rushed, first to the Akai House Clinic and later he was referred to the Cardio Centre at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital for emergency treatment.
However, Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie has given statement that: “It cannot be correct; in fact during the elections, even before the elections, he used to have some checkups with his daughters, which is right that our leaders should have regular checkups from their medical practitioners”.
“…I spoke with him this morning and he’s doing fine, he’s ok and should be back sometime this week”.

FIFA has Named Gyan best Player for World Cup Qualifiers Africa

The Captain of the Black Stars and Ghana’s best football talent Asamoah Gyan is now named as the best player in Africa. FIFA has named Asamoah Gyan as the best player for 2013 World Cup Qualifiers Africa.
The world governing body of FIFA named the Black Stars attacker as the best player of the weekend’s 2014 World Cup Qualifiers for Africa discussing his heroics in Sudan where he played a very important role in the Black Stars victory.
On FIFA’s official website, FIFA named Gyan in the ‘Player of Day’ column discussing the 19 matches played over the weekend.
Gyan’s two goals in Omdurman broke Abedi Pele’s record of scoring for Ghana and also confirmed the important victory for the Black Stars. That important and much needed victory in Omdurman on Friday night under a very difficult situation helped the Black Stars to keep their pressure on Group D leaders Zambia.
On Friday night Ghana’s star striker came-up huge where he didn’t only gave a one goal lead to Ghana but he scored another goal which put them ahead when Ghana was reduced to ten men and given up an equalizer – both things happened around the half-hour mark.
The Qualifiers of 2006 and 2010 World Cup went to 3-1 victory but they remained a point behind Chipolopolo.
Asamoah Gyan is only 27, his two goals in the last match took him to 34 International goals and now he is standing equal to the legendary Abedi Pele as the Black Stars all-time top scorer.

FIFA Rankings 2013-Black Stars over took Brazil


A great boost in the black stars confidence as the Black Stars overtook Brazil in the FIFA Rankings 2013.
On this Thursday the Black Stars were moved above the giants of the world Football Brazil in the latest FIFA rankings which happened just a day before when they are going to play against Sudan in a crucial World Cup Qualifier.

Bell Labs Introduced a Camera without Lens


Another achievement in the modern technology as Bell Labs Introduced Camera without Lens, A small team of researchers at Bell Labs in New Jersey has made a camera without lens.
They explained that instead of lens the camera uses a LCD array, a photoelectric sensor and a computer to always create the pictures in-focus.
The traditional cameras use the same and basic model of light coming through a lens which is already focused onto film and an array of sensors like the biological model of retina. This new model is based on capturing the most possible and best looking image. In this effort the Bell Labs team took very nearly the opposite approach, this technique is based on the idea measurement of light as it’s bounced off of an object carries a lot of redundancy and to take the advantage of that the researchers have used the technology known as compressive sensing.Read more »http://bit.ly/13aEuZc

Afari Gyan admitted petitioners claim of over voting


Surprising news from the ongoing Presidential Election Petition hearing where Afari Gyan admitted petitioners claim of over voting.
The Chairman of the Electoral Comision of Ghana, Dr Kwadwo Afari Gyan ended the day of his examination lead by counsel for the petitioners, Philip Addison where Afari Gyan accepted the petitioner’s definition of over voting which he had earlier denied in his examination in chief.
Counsel Philip Addison ended his cross examination on the day presented Dr. Afari Gyan with a pink sheet from Temporary Booth Jinpenhi Polling Station (Code K030405), Where over voting could be easily seen as the total ballots casted were 67 but the total number of registered voters at the polling station mentioned in the pink sheet was 21. Read more »http://bit.ly/10nPxv2
